As we fill the streets with lively chanting, our bright banners raised up high
Ringing out for climate justice sounds our battle cry
As we shout and sing our truth to power it wants our voices blurred
But we insist our planet-friendly message must be heard!

Look around at our determined faces, each generation’s here
In each of us the love of Nature is shining clear
And the cause that brings us all together, the reason that our flag’s unfurled
Is our shared responsibility to save the world!

And because we are human beings, and because we love Life
We try to hold back our rising fear by spreading joy
Like the Guardian's First Dog On The Moon

Self-righteous right-wing nut-jobs tend to find can quite annoy!
That's a fair example of the humour we employ

It's important that we celebrate when we get some rare good news
New technologies to help the planet we could use
And it isn't massively uncommon that we fight off their attacks
And even in the depths of crisis find time to relax
